Seven days, four landscapes, one unforgettable trip. Begin in Amman with a relaxed orientation walk through downtown's old souks, then head south through the King's Highway — Madaba's mosaics, Mount Nebo's view across the Jordan Valley, the Crusader fortress of Kerak. Two full days at Petra (one of which is by candlelight), a Bedouin-camp night under the Wadi Rum stars, and a closing float on the Dead Sea before flying home.
Designed for travellers who want depth without exhaustion — most days are 4-6 hours of guided time, with afternoons left open for naps, tea, or your own wandering.

Touch down in Amman and meet your trip director at the airport. After settling in at your hotel, we set out for a relaxed orientation walk through downtown old souks, Rainbow Street, and the Roman amphitheatre. End the day with mezze in a family-run restaurant our team has been visiting for fifteen years.

Kings Highway via Madaba + Mount Nebo + Kerak
A 2000-year-old road across Jordan

Trade the highway for the historic Kings Highway. First stop: Madaba and its 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Next, Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have looked across to the Promised Land. Late afternoon brings us to the Crusader fortress of Kerak before continuing to Petra for two nights.

Today is Petra. We enter through the Siq just after sunrise, before the crowds, and watch the Treasury reveal itself for the first time. You will have time to climb to the Monastery, explore the Royal Tombs, and wander the High Place of Sacrifice with your guide. After dinner, if it is a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday, we return for Petra by Candlelight: 1500 candles along the Siq, Bedouin music at the Treasury, and a sky full of stars.

A relaxed second morning in Petra, visit Little Petra and the lesser-known back-route trails our local guide knows by heart. By afternoon we transfer to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Sunset over the dunes, then a traditional zarb dinner cooked in the sand.

A full day exploring Wadi Rum by 4x4: narrow canyons, ancient rock inscriptions, sand dunes, the natural arch at Burdah, and a stop for tea with a Bedouin family. Tonight we sleep in a Bedouin camp: private cabin tents with proper beds and bathrooms, but no walls between you and the Milky Way.

Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea
From the lowest sky to the lowest land on earth

We trade desert for sea, driving north to the Dead Sea, 430 metres below sea level and the lowest point on the planet. Float effortlessly in water so dense a book is hard to hold, smear yourself in the famous mineral mud, then unwind at a beach club with cocktails as the sun goes down.

One last slow Dead Sea morning. Late breakfast, optional spa treatment, and check-out around midday. Transfer to Amman airport, where your trip director sees you through to security. We hope the desert dust never quite shakes out of your shoes.
